Christmas Day

Christmas morning Sydney woke up about 7:15. She came running into our room yelling "Santa came, Santa came!" She was so excited. First she brought us the stuffed animal Santa had brought her into show me and then was begging at the side of the bed for me to get up. Finally I got up and got her stocking down for her to look at while we waited for Mak. Finally at 7:45 she couldn't stand it anymore so we let her go and wake her up. Makenzie came down stairs and dumped out her stocking for her and was yelling and jumping up and down.....Mak was a little overwhelmed and still half alseep.

Once she woke up she was really good at opening the presents but we had to make sure to pick up all the wrapping paper because if any got stuck to her feet it made her mad.

Sydney was really excited to open her presents.

She got a microphone karaoke machine from Santa.

Mak got a big dress up set from Santa.

Dad helps Mak open her toddler tag

Mak really likes her new stuff for her dolly house

Sydney gets all sorts of art supplies including a light brite

Sydney is very excited about her Despicable me movie and Surfs up from Charlie! A couple days before Christmas I had put Charlie's gift under the tree. Sydney picked it up and shook it and said," Charlie got us a movie. I don't know which one but it's a movie." Smart kid!

Sydney and Mak also got presents for each other. It was really cute to take Sydney shopping. She wanted to pick out the best gift for her sister. We looked at 3 different stores and eventually settled on a dora dolly and dora book. It was one of Mak's favorite gifts.

I open my bath and body works stuff from Sydney.

Jason opens his presents. He got a few tools and some stuff to clean his truck. The next day I let him buy an Ipad.

Jason got me a crochet kit and a crock pot along with a fun new scrapping tool, the big shot.

After presents we made breakfast. I made reindeer pancakes for the girls.

Then after getting dressed and playing with the girls I started dinner. We made salt crusted prime rib and pecan pie cheesecake. YUMMO!

Finishing up dinner. I put the rolls in and Jaon cuts the prime rib. Then we all sit down for a nice dinner.

After dinner the girls give themselves make overs with the make up kit grandma got them.

Then Dad sets up the microphone and they make a few music videos. Mak is a crack up! She thinks you have to yell into the microphone and she leans back so far when she does it I think she's going to tip over!

Sydney and I do a music video. Please don't watch though. I only put it on per Sydney's request.

Then we all watched Despicable me and the girls went to bed.
