Christmas Eve
Posted by Carrie on January 8th, 2012
Christmas eve was a layed back day for us. We spent most of the day at home with the kids doing Christmas things and watching football. First the girls and I made chex mix and cookies for Santa.

Sydney and I had alot of fun decorating the gingerbread men, candy canes and trees. And oh man were they yummy!

Then we all got dressed up fancy to go out to dinner. Since it was just us we set up the tripod and took a few family pictures in front of the tree. The girls thought the timer on the camera was funny and were really good at posing.

Then since we were all dressed up fancy like "fancy Nancy" according to Sydney she made us wear our sunglasses so we would look like movie stars. You gotta read the book. They are the cutest thing though with their shades on while it's dark out.

After a nice dinner at Carrabba's we took the girls on a drive to look at more Christmas lights. When we got home I let them open the present I had for them which was PJ's and a book.

We put out cookies and hot cocoa for Santa.

Then go outside to sprinkle magic reindeer food on the lawn which is birdseed and glitter.

Then Santa comes during the night and drops offs the presents. Andy even has a present he wrapped for the girls too!

And here's the last 2 days of Andy from right before Christmas. Here Andy takes Snow white and Sleeping Beauty out for a movie.

LOL! What did Sydney think of them tying up Andy? Love all your family poses too! And what sugar cookie recipe to you use? I've yet to find one I really like.
