December Wrap Up
Posted by Carrie on January 27th, 2012
I think I am finally to the end of the folders full of pictures from December. Here is the last of them outlining the last of the fun things we did that month! Enjoy!
Sydney takes a cooking class with her friends at Chefs 2 Be.
They made chocolate mousse cups with strawberry cream.

Jason takes me on a date to a South African cuisine restaurant

One night we took the girls up to chick fila for dinner

Santa Claus was there and they got to tell him what they wanted for Christmas. Sydney asked for a surprise stuffed animal and then told him she loved him. How sweet!

Then afterwards we took them to see some really cool light displays in Kingwood. These are people's homes. They were awarded best decorated yards in houston.

They have a whole train station set up in their front yard and one of them has candy for the kids in it.

The place is even complete with a photo op!

When we got home that evening I let them open a special present under the tree. It was the polar express book.

Sydney also had her class party on the last day of school before break. I wasn't going to go because I had been sick but I told her I would try my best to make it. Here she is all dressed up for the party. Unfortunately she had fallen into the coffee table the night before so her poor chin is all scraped up.
That morning Charlie watched Mak for me and I showed up just in time. She was coming in from recess and saw me and started jumping up and down. Her teacher told me that when she looked back at her a tear was rolling down her face and that when she asked her what was wrong she responded, "I am just so happy my mom is here." Awe I feel so loved!

They made snowman ornaments to take home

Then they had a fun lunch and played freeze dancing and had a book exchange.

The week after Christmas we attended the Playgroup Holiday party. Jason took the day off and went with us too. I love this place because they have the best Christmas trees to take pictures in front of.

The girls were super into posing for me.

They also did some crafts, had a book exchange, played freeze dancing and had lunch.
