Sydney is 6!!!

6 years ago I had my first baby girl.  I had no idea how much she would change my life.  I love her sweet and kind disposition.  She is the most caring and loving little girl I know.  She takes care of her little sister like she is her own and is always helpful.  She is a good friend to everyone and loves to make things for people.  We love you Sydney and Happy Birthday!

The Birthday Suprises started on Wednesday night when I picked grandma up from the airport.  She had no idea she was coming and was at gymnastics with her friends when we showed up.  Grandma sat in the bleachers above us and when Sydney came over it took her awhile to realize that it was her.  Then when she did she yelled, "GRANDMA!"  and started jumping up and down.  Then on Friday her birthday she requested a pancake cake for breakfast before school.

She also was super excited about the flowers and balloon dad had left for her on her desk.  She carried them all over the house and wanted me to taker her picture with them.  At school she wore her new dress that I had given her that morning with Tinkerbell on it.  Then during lunch her whole class told her happy Birthday and had chocolate icecream treats.  Her teacher also gave her a certificate and let her pick something out of the treasure box.

After school we played outside for a little while.  She really wanted to open her presents so grandma let her open the little one from her which was a hello kitty swimsuit.

She also posed for me in her new dress.
Then she took a few photos too!

That evening we met Dad and Joe, Lori and Alyssa at the movie theater.  We watched Beauty and the Beast and had a big bucket of popcorn.  Sydney also got a chocolate shake with a cherry on top.  Makenzie liked the popcorn so much she pretty much dove into the bukcet.

Then we all went for Birthday dinner at Chuy's.  Alyssa and Sydney had a blast playing with tortilla dough while we waited and during dinner.  Sydney was so excited when the waiter brought her a little icecream sundea and lit a tortilla strip on fire like a candle.

When we got home she opened her presents from us.  Grandma got her a little critter house to go with the mouse family Mak bought her.

Mom and Dad gave her a new game for the playstation which was an art tablet/ drawing game.  She had seen it on tv a bunch of times and really wanted it so she was super surprised when she opened it!
